Hiking the South Fork of the Skokomish River

Well we Tweeners tried again to do the South Fork of the Skokomish river and we succeeded!

Last report from March 23 said there were 18 inches of snow on the road and they only got in 3 miles and there were many blow-downs on the road. Well we had no snow on the road and the blow-downs had been cut although all the debris had not been completely cleared from the road yet, but they are working on that. We got to the trailhead snow free and hiked much of the trail snow free but down in the bottoms there was thin snow to walk on and that will be gone in two weeks.
